WAPDA Introduction:

Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent body of the Federal Government of Pakistan which is maintaining the utilities of Water and Power in the state. It was established after the independence through an act of parliament in 1958

WAPDA owns the biggest dams in Pakistan and actively controls and operates the demands and needs of the Pakistani Commercial and Domestic sectors. It is also planning on completing five more multi-dimensional dams to cover the growing needs of the power sector.

 WAPDA's goal is focused on developing neat and clean energy that is affordable for the citizens of Pakistan to bring down the power tariff keeping in view the consumers. The company has a self-governing network throughout the country.

Job Description:

The candidates must apply from all over the country however, the selected candidates will be posted anywhere in Pakistan. WAPDA is hiring Chairman – Resettlement Claim Commission and Member – Resettlement Claim Commission.

Both male and female applicants are eligible for this recruitment. Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan quotas are briefly described in the WAPDA Career Advertisements.

The initial appointment shall be on probation for a period of one year. Educational Degrees must be recognized by HEC Universities/Institutions.

Candidates who want to apply for Member and Chairman Jobs should be retired Judge of Higher Court/Supreme Court and Govt Retired Officers of (BPS-20).
